🐾 Forever in Our Hearts, Sam 🐾

Sam was more than just a dog. He was a fun-loving, gentle Lab with the biggest heart and a love for his family that was unconditional.

He loved his cheese, his bones, riding in the truck, and being wherever his five favorite humans were. Sam never met a stranger, and if anyone was in the kitchen, you could bet Sam was right there, too! He spent his later years protecting the backyard from those pesky squirrels, but his favorite thing was simply taking a nap right beside the people he loved.

Sam was always happy, always loving, and always there to make our days a little brighter. He may have started out as a rescue dog, but when you really think about it, Sam was the one who rescued us. He brought so much love, joy, and companionship into our family, and our lives are better because he was part of them.

Our hearts are broken, and we miss him more than words can explain. The house feels a little quieter, the kitchen isn’t quite the same, and there will always be a part of us looking for him to be right there beside us.

But knowing that our sweet boy is in doggy heaven, running free, chasing squirrels, and living pain-free brings us some comfort.

Sam, thank you for loving us the way you did. Thank you for all the memories, the laughs, the companionship, and the unconditional love you gave our family. You will always be one of us, and no amount of time will ever change that.

You were the best dog a family could ever ask for. We love you, Sam, and we will miss you every single day until we see you again.

Run free, sweet boy. Give those squirrels a run for their money. You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever a part of our family.
