Cremation is speeding up the composition process with intense heat, turning the body to bone fragments. The process takes place in a cremation chamber, also known as a retort, and can take anywhere between 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on weight.
If your pet passes away at home, the first thing you should do is give us a call. We are available 24hrs and we will be able to guide you through the next steps. We will help you make arrangements for aftercare, as well as set up a pick up time of your loved one from your residence or meet up time to meet us at our location.
The cremation process usually takes three business days. Once the cremation is complete and your loved one is ready, We will be in touch with you to schedule a pick up time. We will communicate with you if the process takes any longer than expected timeframe.
At PRs Heavenly Bridge, we have an internal documentation system that allows us to keep track of every animal that comes into our care. We also offer in-person services, so if you’d prefer, you can witness your pet’s cremation at our facility.
If your pet has a euthanasia appointment scheduled, These are the steps a family can take to use our services.
1.Contact us and let us know your name, pets information and vet clinic you have the appointment at.
2.Tell your Veterinarian, front office receptionist that you will be using our services.
3. We will handle everything else from here. We will contact your vet and coordinate a time to go pick up your loved one. Once we have your loved one in our possession, we will contact you and let you know.

Cremation costs will vary depending on your pet’s weight, as well as the type of service you choose. Please contact us for any pricing questions.
Private Cremation – Just one pet is placed in the crematory and incinerated. Family receives ash returned.
Individual Cremation –More than one pet may be cremated together in the same chamber, with fire brick separating each pet to ensure separation. Family receives ash returned.
Communal Cremation -A pet is cremated collectively, and no ashes are returned to the pet’s family. A family may still choose to have a memorial of their pet prior to cremation, such as a paw print impression.
Absolutely! We understand this is an emotionally difficult time and want to do everything we can to help you through it. We offer in-person cremation service. This allows you the opportunity to say your final goodbyes and watch the entry portion of the cremation process.
We offer five in-house urn styles for your pet, although you are also welcome to choose from our catalog as well. Our in-house styles urn choices are cedar wood, cedar rose, metal vase, heart shape urn and cherry wood urn chest. The ashes of pets who are cremated communally are donated to local arborist to assist in the nutrients and growth of trees, flowers and bushes.
